William Kronschnabel
Since first opening his law office in 1976, Mr. Kronschnabel has been providing quality legal representation to hundreds of businesses and individuals. He currently practices primarily in the areas of general business, with special emphasis in contracts and international business transactions, and in estate planning/probate/trust matters. He has expertise in handling complex transactions, including business succession planning, family wealth management, legacy disputes, business alliances and integrations, acquisitions, financing (equity and debt) and real estate purchases and leases.
Mr. Kronschabel is a Qualified Neutral on the Minnesota Supreme Court List of Qualified Neutrals, and has extensive experience as a neutral in both judicial and arbitration/mediation forums, including presiding as a Referee in the Conciliation (Small Claims) Court Division of the Second Judicial District (Ramsey County) since 1982. He has also been appointed in various courts as a Special Master, Receiver, Independent Trustee, Mediator, Special and General Administrator of Estates, and Guardian Ad-Litem. He is experienced in working with Directors and top management in companies between start-up and as outside general counsel to a corporation with over 200 employees. In his early career he tried many cases to both juries and judges as a prosecutor, and as a public defender, and throughout law school was a judicial law clerk.
Mr. Kronschnabel is currently in his ninth 3-year term as a member of the Second Judicial District (Ramsey County) Ethics Committee and also served six years as a Panel Chair on the Minnesota State Board of Professional Responsibility.
